The Success Family of CE Companies Announces New LTC Insurance Continuing Education Course for Colorado Partnership for Long-Term Care

Newport Beach, CA, December, 2008---SuccessCE is pleased to announce the availability of a new long-term care partnership training program:  Colorado Partnership for Long-Term Care Prerequisite On-line Course, consisting of an 8 hour Live CE (classroom) setting course and an 8 hour Online course to meet the Colorado 16 hour LTC requirement.

This course, “Colorado Partnership Long Term Care,” is approved by the Colorado Department of Insurance as meeting the insurance continuing education LTC requirement for the Colorado  Long Term Care program. Agents must complete the initial 8-hour NAIC Online Partnership training course and the 8 hour Live CE portion by January 1, 2009, or prior to marketing the LTC Products in Colorado. As with all Success CE courses, the course is approved and also meets all state requirements.

State Specific Insurance Continuing Education Courses

• 24 insurance CE hours are required biennially
• 3 hours must be in Ethics
• A 16 hour LTC  insurance education requirement for producers who wish to sell LTC products. This required course and will count towards the basic insurance CE requirement for the renewal period in which it is taken.
• At least 18 of the required 24 insurance CE hours required must cover the lines of insurance for which the producer is licensed.
• All Colorado resident insurance producers licensed in P&C or personal lines of authority that may sell flood insurance are required to complete a one-time course related to NFIP that will provide at least three (3) hours of insurance continuing education
