The Success Family of CE Companies Announces New LTC Insurance Continuing Education Course for Iowa Partnership for Long-Term Care

Newport Beach, CA, November, 2008---SuccessCE is pleased to announce the availability of a new long-term care partnership training program:  Iowa Partnership for Long-Term Care Prerequisite On-line Course. 

This course, “Iowa Partnership Long Term Care,” is approved by the Iowa Partnership for Long-Term Care as meeting the insurance continuing education LTC requirement for the Iowa Medicaid Long Term Care program. Agents must complete the initial 8-hour NAIC Partnership training course by January 1, 2009, or prior to marketing the LTC Products in Iowa. As with all Success CE courses, the course is approved and also meets all state requirements.

State Specific Insurance Continuing Education Courses

• 36 hours of insurance CE are required every 3 years. 18 hours must be in a classroom setting.
• 3 hours must be in ethics.
• All Iowa licensed resident insurance producers who sell federal flood insurance policies shall be required to complete a one-time, 3-hour requirement on flood insurance.
• All producers who wish to sell fixed, indexed life, or annuity products on or after January 1, 2008 must complete a 4-credit hour Fixed Income Product Training insurance continuing education course.
• Effective 1/1/2009:  A training course of at least 4 insurance CE credits in subjects related to long-term care insurance must completed prior to selling any long-term care insurance after the initial 8 hour training, for producers wishing to continue to sell long-term care insurance.
