Idaho Insurance Continuing Education (CE) Courses

State Proctor/Monitor Requirements:

• Exams do not require a monitor for Idaho insurance continuing education.

ID Insurance Continuing Education Online Renewal Requirements:

• Resident producers must earn 24 hours, 3 of which must be in law or ethics.
• Public Adjusters must earn 24 hours, 3 of which must be in law or ethics.

State Specific (required) Courses:

• 3 hours must be in ethics or law
• Initial 8 hour LTC course is required when selling, solicit and negotiate LTC. A 4 hour follow-up course is required in the subsequent renewal period. For Further information see bulletin 2007-3 on state’s website.
• All Idaho licensed resident insurance producers who sell Federal Flood Insurance policies shall be required to complete a one time 3 hour requirement on flood insurance.

Idaho Insurance CE License Renewal Timelines:

• The compliance date is the license renewal date.
• The license renewal date is the first day of the month following the license issuance date, biennially.
