North Dakota Insurance Continuing Education (CE) Courses

State Proctor/Monitor Requirements:

• Exams are NOT required to be monitored for North Dakota insurance continuing education.

ND Insurance Continuing Education Online Renewal Requirements:

• 12 hours are required annually/ 24 hours per biennial reporting period for North Dakota insurance CE.

State Specific (required) Courses:

• 3 hours must be in ethics for ND insurance CE.
• All North Dakota licensed resident insurance producers who sell federal flood insurance policies shall be required to complete a one time 3 hour requirement on flood insurance.
• LTC Partnership Training Requirement: Producers who sell, solicit or negotiate Long-Term Care insurance policies for North Dakota’s LTC Partnership program must complete a one-time 8-hours training program every 24 months.
