Partnership Long-Term Care Update
Twenty-three (23) states now have a Partnership LTC requirement that needs to be completed January 1, 2009 or before. Colorado is unique because they require 16 hours of LTC training. Success CE offers a choice: All 16 hours can obtained in a live format, or eight (8) hours can be obtained live while the eight (8) remaining hours can be obtained online. In most states agents must complete ongoing 4 hour follow-up training within 24 months after the date they complete the initial training.

Some wholesalers who offer state-specific Partnership Long-Term Care courses prefer to double their attendance at meetings by presenting live continuing education classes, while others prefer to hand out the Insurance continuing education (CE) credit card or CE voucher after their presentation. Many do both. This is a terrific benefit to those in the field as all producers need continuing education (CE).
